Workshops
The Family Stream of SACY (Supporting and Connecting Youth) has an in-person event coming up on December 11th, 2025 for all parents and caregivers!
The Building Bridges workshop will be hosted in-person at the SACY Portable behind Sir Charles Tupper Secondary (the SACY portable is located on the corner for E 23rd and Prince Edward) on Thursday, December 11th from 5:30pm-7pm.
The format of the workshop will be a facilitated presentation with opportunity to ask questions throughout.
Building Bridges is a 90-minute interactive workshop facilitated by the SACY family stream staff, offering parents and caregivers an opportunity to learn about teen substance use and to build tools for prevention. The topics explored are destigmatizing substances, prevention and safety, and how to have conversations with teens about substances.
