The Red and Black Shop is the School鈥檚 onsite uniform and supplies shop.
The Shop sells new and second-hand uniforms, basic stationery and school merchandise. It is the exclusive supplier of RGS uniforms.
All purchases made at the Shop must be made via cash, EFTPOS or credit card. Accounts cannot be created for students.

The transition period for the new uniform spans just over two years, starting at the beginning of Term 4 in 2024 and concluding at the end of Term 4 in 2026. During this time, students may choose to wear either the current uniform or the new one, but mixing elements of both on any given day is not permitted (with the exception of the School Blazer).

The Red and Black Shop is closed over school holiday periods.
Extended Trading hours will be in place over the busy Christmas holiday to accommodate demand.

We ask that all RGS families make an appointment for the Red and Black Shop so that the staff can be ready to assist you upon your arrival.
For new families - Shop staff will assist you in purchasing your first RGS uniforms and ensuring your child has everything they need.
For current students - as the new uniform items are sourced from a different supplier, the fit may vary from the current sizing. To ensure the best fit, we strongly encourage all students to schedule a uniform appointment to try on the new uniforms before making a purchase.
The Red and Black Shop sells second-hand uniforms as well as new stock. Please note that second-hand uniforms cannot be exchanged or refunded as they are sold on consignment.
Please deliver your consignment items to the Red and Black Shop along with a completed Consignment Form (available below). All items (including bags and hats) must be washed and bagged.
Old Uniform Collection
With the introduction of the new uniform collection, only select items from the previous uniform are eligible for consignment or resale. A complete list of these items can be found on the Consignment Form below. All other items from the previous collection may be returned to the Shop for recycling or donation. For your convenience, there are red bins placed outside the Shop to place your old uniform items in.
Please note that at the end of 2024, the Red and Black Shop will no longer sell second-hand items from the current uniform. Any uniforms accepted for consignment after January 2024 will have a shorter consignment period and will be removed from the store by the end of 2024.
New Uniform Collection
As students depart the School in 2025 and beyond, second-hand items of the new uniform will become available through the existing consignment process. A consignment form specifically for the new uniform will be made available in 2025.
